Bird of Paradise – N5761S
The Bird of Paradise, like all SGS 2-32s, carries three people – the pilot and two passengers. The passengers sit side-by-side in the back seat. Two average-sized adults fit cozily.
Aloha Spirit – N794KS
The Aloha Spirit is an ASK-21, manufactured by Alexander Schleicher in Germany. The Schleicher Company is the oldest glider company in the world, producing gliders since 1929. We use this craft for aerobatic demonstration flights.


L- 19 Bird Dogs
All of Honolulu Soaring’s towplanes are L-19 Bird Dogs. Manufactured by Cessna and designated Cessna 305, this airplane was developed for the military as an observation aircraft.
Tropical Breeze
Schweizer Aircraft Corporation is the oldest family-run aircraft company in the U.S. They sold their first glider in 1937. The Schweizer 2-32, which went into production in 1962, is famous world-wide for being the only glider that can carry three people, the pilot and two passengers.


Sky Surfer
Originally designed to carry two people sitting in tandem, front and back seats, the aircraft was actually wide enough to accommodate two average-sized people in the back seat. And, the FAA approved it to carry two passengers and a pilot.
